What is Zero Balancing?

As a physical therapist for more than 30 years, Zero Balancing (ZB) is the technique I am most passionate about. ZB is focused on the bones and the joints of the body.  Bones are the body's densest tissue and tend to hold physical and emotional trauma from a recent injury, from a past injury or even from childhood trauma.  ZB allows me to release tight joints that a person may not be able to get at themselves. A small change at these "foundation joints"  can have a larger, ripple effect on the whole person.

You can often tell a lot about a person by the way they hold their posture. After receiving a ZB session, clients are more aligned, relaxed and in less pain and this can translate to them feeling more confident in themselves and more at ease in the world.

Do you accept insurance?

I do not directly bill insurance.  Payment is due in full at time of treatment and can be paid by cash, Venmo, PayPal, Apple Pay or credit card. I am able to provide a Super Bill to submit to insurance companies if needed.

Do I need a doctor’s referral?

California has Direct Access to physical therapy which means a patient can receive P.T. treatment for up to 45 calendar days or 12 visits, whichever comes first. Exceptions are made if the P.T. provides wellness services
